The Central Community School System (CCSS) Special Education Advisory Council allows parents, district staff, and stakeholders to provide advice and feedback regarding special education policies, procedures, and resources. The members of this CCSS council shall engage in outreach activities in the community to increase the level of knowledge, support, and collaboration regarding special education in our district. The council will consist of eight members: four shall be parents of a child with a disability enrolled in a CCSS school or a student with a disability or an agency that serves students with a disability, at least one shall be a CCSS school employee, and at least one shall be a special education stakeholder.

Two CCSS Employees
This appointment is for a two-year term. Members will act as an advisory council to the superintendent and/or the school board. The council will meet at least three times per year.
