CHS Talented Visual Arts students produce a variety of artworks that stretch their skills and creativity while incorporating fundamentals of design, such as line, shape, form, value, pattern, and color, to create engaging compositions.

CHS Football Players Earn All-District Honors

Drew Lasseigne and Keenan Leachman were named to the All-District First Team. Kaleb Batiste, Parker Evans, and J'Airus Moore garnered Second Team honors. Additionally, a number of student-athletes were awarded honorable mention.

20 CHS Students Named to All-Parish Band

Last Saturday, students from our Central High School Band auditioned for the East Baton Rouge All-Parish Honor Band. Once again, many of our students qualified. This is a huge honor for these students who put in many hours of practice to make this ensemble.

CCSS Maintains Top 3 Academic Ranking

For the sixth consecutive year, the Central Community School System earned an "A" rating, the highest awarded by the Department of Education. Every school was deemed "A" quality by the Department of Education.
