The technology department provides for all of the technology resources used in Central Community School System. This includes hardware, software, network connections, communication systems, training and maintenance at all our schools and other individual locations within the district.

Most of our classrooms are designed for the 21st century learner with teacher work stations which include specialized computer furniture, a computer, projector, document camera, and large screen. Each of our schools has a computer lab and instructor to help our students become digital ciitizens. Most classrooms have four to six individual computers with Internet connection.

Software programs allow the computer to be used in a variety of ways including: improving reading and writing skills; researching through online sources; enhancing textbooks; video editing and supporting student administrative systems, such as grade reporting and attendance. The administrative software allows Accounting, Payroll and Human Resources to function.
